OF COUNSEL

Stephen Chew

Stephen has practiced representation of employers before the courts and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board for 29 years.  His practice has included representation in Workers’ Compensation claims at every level, from initial handling to appeals.  He currently emphasizes representation in subrogation cases before the Courts, offering personal handling of cases in which employers have the opportunity to recover the sometimes sizeable amount spent after an injured worker files a lawsuit in Superior Court for work related in juries.  He also specializes in representation of carriers and employers in other types of subrogation cases, the representation of uninsured employers in workers compensation cases, the defense of 132a, Serious and Willful and Punch Press cases, and a wide variety of other litigation matters, particularly business litigation.
